I. THE VISION: SMOKING MIRROR

About three thousand years ago, a wise man had a revelation while sleeping: he understood that the stars existed because of light, that matter is a mirror reflecting that light and creating images, and that what we call reality is a shared dream. He understood too that he was part of that dream — that every person was. When he tried to share his discovery, no one believed him. There was smoke between them — not a defect, not an enemy, but the dream itself, the patterns, the beliefs, the filters through which each person constructs their version of what is. That is why he became known as Tezcatlipoca: Smoking Mirror. Not because the smoke was something to eliminate, but because naming it is the first act of seeing it. This retreat is an invitation to look. To observe the patterns that constitute us — the visible and the invisible, what we call light and what we call shadow — without the urgency to change them. Through the science of sound, sacred geometry, somatic work, and ancestral ceremony, we create spaces where those patterns become visible. What each person does with what they see belongs entirely to them. There is nothing to fix. There is no destination of light waiting at the end of the road.
What there is, is a mirror — and the possibility of looking at it with open eyes, integrating
everything we are.

II. TWO THREADS, ONE WEAVE

The Awareness Thread: Perception as Doorway (Camilo)
Camilo weaves together the many threads of his life’s work — as medicine carrier, keeper of traditional chants, professional musician, and devoted seeker of knowledge — revealing what has always been one single path, seen from different perspectives. Just as every beach and every river meets the same sea from a different angle, the ancient
geometries found across traditions all point toward the same underlying phenomena. From science and physics to philosophy and ancestral wisdom, the same patterns emerge — the same grid, manifesting from the same source. In these workshops, we will start to recognize those patterns, to understand more deeply what this existence is truly
about: what are the rules of the game, and who is the real player. Lets play!

The Somatic Thread: The Body as Territory (Shannon)
Shannon draws from her studies important aspects of neurobiology, nervous system regulation, and somatic practices. Her contribution is to bring awareness so the body can bring itself into alignment — a territory with its own dynamics, its protection mechanisms, its intelligence. When the nervous system feels sufficiently safe, it naturally opens to more information. Not because we force it, but because that is how it works. Her sessions progress from fundamental to deep: first exploring the experience of safety in the body, then observing how the nervous system creates patterns, then learning selfregulation tools, and finally exploring stored emotional energy. At the close, the Tea Mandala Ceremony invites each participant to integrate their personal story into an act of
symbolic alchemy.

The Weave
Mornings explore the body and nervous system (Shannon). Afternoons expand the field of perception (Camilo). Evenings integrate through circles, sound and ceremony. Each day is a cycle: exploration of the inner territory, opening the field of vision, integration in shared space. The week is cradled between two Temazcales- an opening to shed what we carry, and a closing to anchor what we’ve received. The final morning, we gather in a tea mandala ceremony, where each guest creates a personal blend of herbs that is then brewed and received as an embodied ritual of becoming our own medicine.
