Future Villages Conference | Sept 18 - 20, 2026

An intimate weekend convening at Toji Nature Retreat in Costa Rica centered on practical learning and honest dialogue around village-scale community development.

Our conversations will explore the following core themes:

– Community presentation from Jacó Impact

– ⁠Boruca mask painting workshop and reciprocity discussion with Lourdes from the So Cagru women’s collective.

– ⁠Conscious technology use and the AI / data sovereignty debate.

– ⁠Circular Economy & Zero Waste Initiatives in Costa Rica

This is not a traditional conference, but a peer-level exchange grounded in lived experience, shared meals, time on the land, and candid discussion about the real challenges of turning a community vision into reality.
